Jan 28, 2009 Important for Oprah to read regarding how her promo for show HURT Americas children and mine NEW by: LeanneDenise please Oprah read my myspace and twitter and your email i sent you and the producers last night to your oprah.com contact eamil address its very important and before i take this farther i want you to have a chance to understand in case you really did not know how much of an impact your promo to get veiwers hurt americas children and my own you broke our heart i was in shock you would say 'why americas childre are fat, with doctor OZ' todays oprah that was all it siad over and over and over again my daughter had just had a teacher put her down in a very hurtful way with something very carelessly said and the very next day after it was resolved with an apology from that teacher Oprah winfrey, of all people, told the world americas children are fat do you know the depth of this mistake OMG please email me blueorder9@aol.com anyone reading this that can get this message to Oprah please do whatever you can the longer it goes without her apology and admitting of this mistake and explanation in someway in a promo the more chance someone some child or teen with an eating disorder will agree in the mirror, 9i deal with it every day how hard it is for my freshman daughter and 10 year old daughter to look at themself how they are, they arent fat, but society and peers and bullies make them think they are and the media, and now You? 9huh??-come on now you know childrens wellbeing is even more important than politics and the victory over rascism(thank God for that, thou!!right on)after all oprah thinks they are all fat so they must be, right i know you probably meant no harm but if we were shocked by this and honestly baffled what about those children alone without a parent to notice and explain what it meant those children getting ready for school in the morning who wont be at the tv at 3pm to understand what oprah meant please someone, i dont have the means to put a billboard in front of Harpo studio im a single mom trying to raise my three school age children in a motel to keep them away from living in domestic violence with out even change to use the payphone in a week like this i dont know why im driven to get this message to you Oprah but its hugh, its as if im being completely driven by Gods holy spirit and I must get your attention as a friend, viewer and mostly one who wont allow any child to be put down for how they are..i lived it and still do, its just wrong www.myspace.com/leannedenise read my BLOGS please and the emails sent to you with contact info give me a call or email asap thank you

We had her here in Savannah Last Year on her Birthday eating with her crew after the Show they did for Black History Month. I remember vividly because my Daughter Alicia Rachel Claiborne's Birthday is also the 10th of Feb. We gave her a very private get together. No Press none of that. She seemed to appreciate it. But, she forgot and left the Flowers I bought her. I understand. In the mean time you have been a great Help, and Motivated to lots of Folks. The Peculiar thing about the Nashville connection is Mom was in Grad school at A&I summer of 1965. We lived there on Campus that summer. Then the next thing that happen most recently, my Childhood Sweetheart, and first Wife's brother is now The President of that institution. The good that you have done on this earth has effected alot of things imeasurably. I know that your good works have moved alot of statistics in the right direction for all people. The blessing that you have bestowed on so many, is only dwindle by your great Patients, and sincere heart for all. I only ask one thing of you.
